cared for then it could live well into its teens, possibly longer

Basic requirements such as a litter tray, food and water bowls, a bed and toys, will cost about £30 |

Food and Cat Litter costs an average of around £15 every month. |

Routine Veterinary care for a healthy cat (vaccinations, boosters, wormers and preventative flea treatments) will cost between £40 and £80 per year |

Pet Insurance costs upwards of £100 per year depending on the cover provided by the Policy. |

|
|
Without insurance, emergency treatment from a vet can prove VERY costly, especially when ex-rays and/or overnight stays are required. |

Catteries charge upwards of £6 per day to look after your cat while you are away. |

Cats live for an average of 14 - 18 years. The oldest cat on record was 36 years! |
